My Favorite Things: November 2015

Here are My Favorite Things from the busy month of November.

The Lunar Chronicles

I finally finished Cress (3rd book) and Fairest (companion book) this month! I also got to start on Winter. I know I talk about this book series a lot but it’s just soooo good! It’s one book I recommend picking up if you’re in a reading slump or if plain and simple you want to get into reading. It’s a fast-paced page-turner.

Once I finish Winter, I hope to make a separate blog post to talk more about this book series.

Star Wars Craziness

As the release date of Star Wars : The Force Awakens is coming closer and closer, I’ve been seeing more Star Wars merchandise around and it makes me feel like a little kid again. Recently, there was this mini mall event we went to and I decided to pick up… a new lightsaber! After all, the last time I had one was back in 2007. 🙂 I must say that it’s an improvement to the older models of the ones that don’t light up.

New Journal

I got this journal in this little bazaar I went to recently. It’s by AireesCreates and it’s soooo pretty (she has other great designs too that you should check out). The cover is made from organically-treated Abaca Fiber and the pages inside are 120 gsm ivory paper. The journal’s reasonably-priced considering how much quality it has- thick paper too.

What were your own favorites from November?

  1. I’ve never heard of or read that book series. The covers remind me of classic fairytales. Is that what they’re about?

I actually just watched Star Wars for the first time yesterday! But I really enjoyed it, so I’m gonna watch all the movies and eventually see the new one in theaters. I asked my best friend what he wanted for Christmas, and he said “anything to do with Star Wars”, and wow… there is SO much Star Wars merchandise out right now! Maybe I’ll buy a lightsaber some day. 🙂

That journal is really pretty too! :3

  2. That journal is soooo cute! XD I’ve made several attempts to get back to journaling, and I never stick with it for long. So as much as I love collecting beautiful notebooks, I know it’ll go to waste on me. :’D

  3. Ooooh, lightsaber! Are you going to go see the movie as soon as it comes out? I’m definitely enjoying all the Star Wars stuff in stores. It’s so fun. I keep seeing little Darth Vader figurines and they make me happy I don’t know haha.

I’ve seen The Lunar Chronicles in Goodreads for years but I’ve never really looked into it. Maybe I’ll pick it up one of these days when I need a break from all the romance novels I read haha.

  4. I always see books from that series around and since I always see you talking bout it on here, makes me curious. I may have to try it eventually!

I’m not a huge Star Wars fan but I kinda want a light saber. I mean its a sword! What’s not cool about that?
