Recap: February

It’s nearly mid-March but hey, it’s never too late to have a recap and look back on February right?

I was in a reading mood in February but I ended up only finishing two books. The good news? I loved both of them!

  • Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – 4 / 5 stars
  • Stars Above (The Lunar Chronicles #4.5) by Marissa Meyer – 5 / 5 stars

Broadway Open Mic

My friends and I attended another Sixteen Bars: Broadway Open Mic event. This time, it was held at Staple and Perk Bakery, Makati and the theme was It’s Delovely (any songs pertaining to love, whether it be romance or heartbreak). This was one of our last bonding moments together because one of my friends was set to move to Melbourne, Australia.

Going Away Party

Speaking of my friend, she hosted a simple Going Away party the day before her departure for Australia. It was just held at her house and she invited only a few people. We mostly stayed at her room and played Uno, Cards Against Humanity, and Love Letter. It was a blast!

So that was February. Looking forward to what this March will bring.

  1. Hope you are having a great March! 😀

It’s great you enjoyed reading the books you did. 😀 Better to have two you enjoy, instead of five you don’t!

I am glad that you got to spend some time with your friend before they left. 🙂
    Kya recently posted…Twenty Nine

  2. Sounds like you had a fun Feburary! Better than mine definitely: drowning in assignments and what not.

I still haven’t finished reading Stars Above, how was it? I’m definitely going to read it as soon as possible! 🙂 I still can’t get over the Lunar Chronicles series, it’s just A M A Z I N G.

I love playing cards against humanity, it’s so funny! Always a laugh!

    1. Good luck with school!

I agree! The Lunar Chronicles = the best. Stars Above did not disappoint! 🙂 The last story (aka the Winter Epilogue) was my favorite!

Cards Against Humanity is great fun! I’ve only tried playing it once but I would like to do it again with my friends.
